Paducah Man Injured in Highland Church Road Crash

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY - A two vehicle crash Friday morning sent one person to the hospital.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says the collision happened just before 5 am in the 1000 block of Highland Church Road. Deputies said a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Emma James, of Paducah, collided with another vehicle, driven by 33-year-old Noah Adkins, also of Paducah.

Police said the two vehicles collided head-on in the apex of a 90-degree curve in the roadway. Adkins was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The wreck shut down Highland Church Road for approximately 30 minutes.
