Marion Main Street Paving Today

MARION, KY -
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans asphalt paving along US 60/Main Street in Crittenden County starting at 6:30 am today.
This daytime paving project will require a high level of public cooperation due to on-street parking in a 3-block area of the Marion downtown business district. By starting at the US 60/US 641 Intersection and moving eastward the crew hopes to be through the downtown area by mid-morning on Monday.
This planned paving project is along US 60 in Marion between the intersection of US 60/Gum Street with US 641/Main Street and extends eastward along US 60/Main Street and Sturgis Road through Marion to Rush Creek Bridge.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.
