Traffic Light Work Today at Friendship Road/US-62

PADUCAH, KY - Work is nearing completion on the installation of new turn lanes at the intersection of U.S. Highway 62 (Blandville Road) and North Friendship Road.
As part of ongoing activity in this work zone, a crew is reworking the traffic signal and striping at the intersection this morning.
This traffic signal work will require bucket trucks and personnel to be in the intersection in close proximity to traffic flow. To accommodate this work the intersection will temporarily function as 4-way stop for several hours during the day. Delays are likely during peak travel periods due to the volume of traffic at this location.
These restrictions are likely to be in place most of the day Friday.
Motorists should be alert for equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow at this busy intersection, which is just west of West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
