Two Hurt in US 60 Crash
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH, KY - Two people went to the hospital Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash on US 60.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded shortly after at 8 a.m. to a crash at the intersection of US 60 and Kelley Road.

Deputies said 56-year-old Mildred Lanier told them she was heading south on Kelley Road when she stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of US 60. As she proceeded across US 60, she didn't see another vehicle, driven by 56-year-old David Pemberton of LaCenter. Lanier struck the driver side of Pemberton's vehicle, causing Pemberton to spin off the roadway.

Pemberton and his passenger, 87-year-old Mary Pemberton of LaCenter were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
