Work Zone Shift on I-24 near Cadiz Begins Monday
By West Kentucky Star Staff
CADIZ - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a crew has completed concrete repair work along the eastbound lanes of I-24 in Lyon and Trigg Counties between the 50 and 65 mile marker.

Work zone lane restrictions will move to the I-24 westbound lanes starting Monday.

Drivers are advised to watch for concrete pavement repairs from the 65 mile marker at the US 68 Cadiz Exit 65 Interchange extending westward to about the 57 mile marker.  This westbound work is a continuation of concrete repair work that started May 30th.

During this round of work, all westbound I-24 traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane.  This work zone will be set up in about 7 to 8 mile segments along the work area.  The work area will continue to move westward toward the KY 293 Eddyville Exit 45 Interchange.

This work zone along I-24 westbound is expected to be in place through about August 15.
