Today is the two-year anniversary of the tornado that ripped through Mayfield and Graves County, leveling homes and businesses and scattering debris for miles.

About 30 buildings were damaged in the EF3 twister that left 10 people injured. Most of the damage was along Highway 45, north of Mayfield. There was also damage along Hwy 121 North, Hwy 80 West and on Sullivan Road and Jim Town Road.

The twister knocked out power for thousands of customers in Mayfield and Graves County, with many trees and power lines on the ground. Luckily, no lives were lost.
