Abandoned puppies lead to woman's arrest in Lyon County

A pack of abandoned puppies in Lyon County landed a Dawson Springs woman behind bars last week.

Authorities received an animal complaint from concerned residents that found puppies near the Cumberland River.

Deputies said 34-year-old Alisha M. Clark was found to have abandoned multiple animals at the location and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Clark was arrested Friday and charged with cruelty to animals.

She was taken to the Crittenden County jail.
