Emergency offcials in Marshall County will be involved in an active shooter drill Thursday morning at a Calvert City facility.
Officials will be at Evonik from 8:30 am until 11 am.
In a news release, J.R. Reynolds, Evonik’s Calvert City Safety, Health, and Emergency Service Manager said, “The safety of our employees and the surrounding communities is our top priority. We look forward to working with other Calvert City Mutual Aid Program (CIMAP) companies and local authorities to strengthen our emergency readiness.”
Reynolds is also president of CIMAP.
