The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers posted Monday that teams have inspected the damage, and are working on repairs to get it back up and running as soon as possible.
Engineers said Kentucky Lock remains open and can be used as an alternate route during this time.
Recreational lockage at Old Hickory Lock on the Cumberland River was temporarily suspended Friday, May 9. It will remain closed through Sunday, May 19.
Lock operations will resume at Old Hickory as soon as its issues are resolved.lake
