Benton man jailed on numerous charges

A Benton man was arrested Monday on an indictment warrant issued by Marshall Circuit Court.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said 29-year-old Richard Stroud is charged with procuring/promoting use of a minor by electronic means and three counts of unlawful transaction with a minor.

After Stroud's arrest, a earch warrant was executed on his residence for other evidence.  Investigators found marijuana and drug paraphanelia.
