Calloway County man jailed on numerous charges

A Calloway County man was arrested on a variety of charges following a traffic stop Wednesday in Murray.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 38-year-old Michael Gouin was apprehended during a traffic stop around 2 am at South Fourth and Sycamore Streets.

Gouin had a total of 16 arrest warrants in Calloway County and was found in possession of meth and marijuana when arrested.

Charges were possession of a controlled substance, an indictment warrant and 15 previous bench warrants.

Gouin was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
