Colorado man arrested on drug and gun charges in Trigg County

A Colorado man was arrested Wedneday morning in the Trigg County Schools drop off line after a school resource officer noticed the smeall of marijuana in the susepct's vehicle.

WKDZ reported Cadiz police said 51-year-ld Paul Allen Hardle of Colorado Springs indicated he was visiting family in Trigg County,  Officers searched his vehicle and found two unloaded and securred firearms in the trunk.

Hardle was charged with possession of marijuana-firearm enhanced.

A Trigg County schools spokesman said no students or staff were endangered.
