Crash on I-24 in Lyon County claims life of Eddyville man

A crash Monday along I-24 in Lyon County claimed the life of an Eddyville man.

Kentucky State Police said that the crash happened at about 5 p.m. on Monday near the 42-mile marker.

Troopers said a van driven by 28-year-old Evan Ralph of Ellicott City, Maryland, crossed the median and collided with a car driven by 54-year-old Brent Burban of Eddyville. 

According to KSP, Burban was pronounced dead at the scene. Ralph was not injured.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
