Death investigation as Bowling Green man found dead in Hopkinsville

A death investigation is underway after a Bowling Green man was found dead in Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville Police said the body of 34-year-old Clifford Barber of Bowling Green was found in the Little River near West Side Park. Police were called about 6:15 a.m. after the body was discovered. An investigation was opened because the circumstances appeared suspicious, and police believe foul play was involved.

Police indicated that no other information would be released about the case at this time.
