No foul play determined in death investigation of body found off Tennessee Street

No foul play was the determination of the State Medical Examiner’s Office, following an autopsy, as the investigation continues into remains found off Tennessee Street in Paducah.

Paducah Police made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon. The discovery of the remains happened on Thursday as contractors were working in the area near the 1300 block of Tennessee.

The identity of the victim is not yet known. Paducah Police, along with the McCracken County Coroner’s Office, believe the identification process will take some time, given the condition of the remains and the amount of time it takes to process DNA evidence.
