Dorena-Hickman Ferry closed

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry has closed for the day. 

Operations were shut down about 12:15pm on Wednesday. According to the ferry's Facebook page, it could be Saturday before they reopen.

No word on the reason for the closure.

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry connects KY 1354 at Hickman, Kentucky, with Missouri Route A and Route 77 near Dorena, Missouri.
