Florida fugitive arrested after theft in Lyon County

A Florida man on the run was arrested in Lyon County Thursday after an alleged theft.

A business called the Lyon County Sheriff's Office about a shoplifting incident. As deputies drove along KY 293, they located 32-year-old Jeffrey Kyle Robertson of Ocala, Florida walking down the road. A computer check showed that Robertson was a fugitive from multiple jurisdictions. They also connected him to the shoplifting earlier in the evening. 

Robertson was arrested on the out-of-state warrants and additionally charged with theft by unlawful taking.
