A Gilbertsville man on a moped led Marshall County authorities on a pursuit Tuesday before he was jailed on numerous charges.
Deputies attempted to stop the moped, driven by 50-year-old James Williams, on US 641.
Williams reportedly refused to stop for several miles, and was seen swerving in the road before coming to stop in a business parking lot.
The sheriff's office said Williams was under the influence and resisted arrest.
He was charged with DUI, no license, fleeing or evading, resisting arrest, possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle, and other traffic-related offenses.
