A Hopkinsville man appeared before a U.S. magistrate judge Thursday after being indicted recently by a federal grand jury in Paducah on drug-related charges.
35 year old Jason Stewart was charged with conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.
If convicted, Stewart faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum sentence of life in prison. He remains in federal custody pending further proceedings.
