Drug investigation leads to Reidland couple's arrest

After complaints of drug activity in a home with children, McCracken County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Reidland couple on Thursday.

Detectives investigated complaints about a home on Byron Drive and served a search warrant on Thursday morning.

One of the residents, 35-year-old Matthew Haralambidis was home with a small child at the time the warrant was served. The other resident, 31-year-old Kayla Prall was located later. 

The search of the home allegedly uncovered marijuana, suboxone, oxycodone, clonazepam, Xanax, and a handgun. Haralambidis is a convicted felon and is not legally allowed to possess a firearm.

Both Haralambidis and Prall were charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of multiple controlled substances, and wanton endangerment. Haralambidis was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to the report, the children are in the care of family members.
