A Kevil couple was arrested Thursday afternoon on drug offenses at the McCracken County Courthouse.

Drug detectives received a tip from a McCracken County deputy jailer alleging that 19-year-old Landon M. Griffin and 21-year-old Cami M. Bowerman were at the courthouse and might have illegal drugs in their vehicle.

Detectives located the vehicle and K9 Oscar reportedly alerted to the presence of drugs. Authorities said a search uncovered 150 suspected fentanyl pills, marijuana, and several THC vape cartridges.

Both Bowerman and Griffin were arrested and taken to the McCracken County jail.

Detectives then obtained a search warrant for their home on Roberts Road, where they said more marijuana, approximately 100 THC vapes, and cash was found.

During the search, 41-year-old Michael P. Timmons of Kevil, and 44-year-old Christi M. Clark, also of Kevil, arrived to the home and were cited for possession of marijuana.

Authorities said the seized drugs have an estimated street value of over $5,000.
