Lyon County student charged with terroristic threatening

A middle school student in Lyon County is accused of threatening another student.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said a Student Resource Officer was called on Wednesday morning to Lyon County Middle School in Eddyville.

The SRO said that a male juvenile reportedly made a threat to murder another student. There were multiple witnesses to the threats which began on a school bus and continued inside the school.

The juvenile was removed from school and released to the custody of his parents. The sheriff’s office said the student is charged with terroristic threatening.
