Man sentenced in Graves, McCracken sex abuse cases

An area man was sentenced to 33 years for sexually abusing children in McCracken and Graves counties. 

Twennty-six-year-old Michael Montogmery previously pleaded guilty to multiple felonies in Graves and McCracken County Circuit courts.  Montgomery was charged with abusing three 14-year-olds.  Two of the victims were from McCracken County with the third from Graves County.  

Charges included use of a minor under 16 in a sexual performance, rape and sodomy.  

The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Paducah Police Department and Kentucky State Police.
