A Marion man has been charged with methamphetamine trafficking in Hopkins County.

According to WPKY, Madisonville Hopkins County Vice Narcotics Unit detectives got a tip that 63-year-old Donald Deboe of Marion was in Madisonville to allegedly sell meth. They spotted him near the Madisonville Mall just before 11:30 a.m. last Wednesday. During a traffic stop, Deboe reportedly told police that he was in possession of a smoking pipe.

A police K-9 is said to have hit on the possible presence of drugs in Deboe’s vehicle. He reportedly admitted to having some meth in his wallet. A THC vape pen was also found in the vehicle.

Deboe was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
