A Marion woman who was presumed missing has apparently been located after two weeks.
The woman, 38-year-old Maria Shadonn Clark, had not been in contact with her family since February 4th.
Now, The Crittenden Press is reporting that Clark’s father has gotten word that she is apparently ok. Her father said on social media that she is not in harm and has chosen not to have contact with her family and friends. The Press story said that he did not know why his daughter cut off communication, one of many things about the case that is unclear.
Crittenden County Sheriff Evan Head confirmed the information in the post to The Crittenden Press. Clark’s father thanked Head and his team for their efforts to locate her.
The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office had assumed the lead role in the case after a handoff from authorities in Campbell County. They initially took the missing persons report after Clark stopped communicating and posting on social media while visiting friends in Northern Kentucky.
Clark was seen on surveillance video at a gas station convenience store off the AA Highway in Campbell County before a private license plate reader picked up her license plate near Huntington, West Virginia.
