Marshall County man in his underwear arrested trying to get into homes

A Marshall County man was arrested in his underwear trying to get into homes in the Jonathan Creek area.

Marshall County Sheriff's deputies were called to the Village Road area near Fairdealing on Tuesday for a report of a man trying to get into homes in the area. The man, 39-year-old Christopher Humphreys of Benton was said to be in his underwear and under the influence. 

Deputies arrested Humphreys and charged him with public intoxication, criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct. 

Humphreys was also served with an outstanding warrant for failure to appear out of Edmonson County District Court.
