Mayfield man jailed after found lying on roadway

A Mayfield man was arrested Thursday after being found lying on a roadway.

Mayfield Police said 36-year-old Cedric Lucious appeared to be intoxicated on illegal drugs and that he had attempted to steal a passing car.

Lucious was taken to the Graves County Restricted Custody Center on charges of disorderly cpnduct, public intoxication, attempted carjacking, possession of a controlled substance and other offenses. ,
