Two people were arrested after the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the McCracken County Department of Community Based Services.

On Friday, deputies were contacted by DCBS, who said they had received a complaint of illegal drug use being conducted at a residence on Blandville Road with three minor children in the home. They also stated the drug use was being done in front of children.

Deputies investigated the complaint and determined that 60-year-old Donald Reaves and 38-year-old Rachel Baumann both lived at the home.

Deputies located a small quantity of Methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia. Some of the items were in an area accessible to the children.

Reaves and Baumann were arrested on possession charges. Baumann was also charged with wanton endangerment. Both were lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
