Murray State Board of Regents hires firm to search for new president

During a specially called meeting on Tuesday, Murray State University's Board of Regents voted to hire the fim Academic Search, Inc. to find a successor for long-time president, Dr. Bob Jackson.

Jackson announced his retirement on Monday, effective June 30th of next year.  He will remain with the school in an advisory role through October 2025, then will become President Emeritus 

Jackson has served as president since 2018, but has been with his alma mater for 43 years.
