Murray man jailed on drug charges

A Murray man was arrested early Wednesday as Calloway County Sheriff's depuiies were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on a subject at a Post Oak Drive residence.

Deputies came upon 59-year-old James L. Smith who was in possession of illicit drugs.

Smith was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphaneilia and lodged in the Calloway County Detention Facility.
