Ohio woman arrested on assault charges at Marshall County Hospital

An Ohio woman was arrested Sunday at a hotel in Marshall County, then reportedly assaulted staff at Marshall County Hospital.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said when they arrived at the room, 56 year old Vickie Hess was discovered locked in a bathroom and allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

After a time, Hess exited the restroom and was transported to Marshall County Hospital.

At the hospital, deputies were requested again as Hess was reportedly assaulting staff and causing a disturbance. 

Deputies tried to calm Hess down but was unsuccessful. She was arrested and restrained but was able to get out of the restraints. 

Once cleared medically Hess was taken to the Marshall County Jail and was charged with assault, alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct, menacing and escape.
