An early Saturday traffic stop landed a Paducah man in jail accused of drug possession.

The stop happened just after midnight Saturday along Benton Road. McCracken County Sheriff's deputies stopped a truck driven by 43-year-old Michael D. Reid of Paducah. A police K-9 hit on the possibility of drugs in the vehicle. Reportedly, Reid was found to have methamphetamine in the truck.

Reid was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and no proof of insurance.
