A Paducah man was arrested Monday for stealing items from a vehicle, less than a week after he was arrested for the same thing, according to police.

Paducah Police said they received a complaint of a man breaking into a parked car on Broadway, where a woman's purse and other belongings were stolen. The victim said she used an app to track a cell phone in her purse and allegedly found the man who took the items.

Police said the victim found 35-year-old Andre Morris at a fast-food restaurant on Broadway, where she confronted him and he fled on foot, throwing various items as he ran.

Authorities said the women's purse and wallet were recovered and an iPod was when Morris was arrested.

Morris was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal littering. Police ask anyone missing an iPod from their vehicle or whose vehicle was broken into on Broadway, Monroe, 8th and 13th Street areas to call the police department.
