A Paducah man was arrested for possession of meth following a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.

A McCracken County Sheriff's Deputy said he stopped a vehicle driving by 30-year-old Austin Potter at Old Mayfield and Bleich Road around 1:40 a.m.

In a search of Potter's vehicle, deputies said they found a quantity of methamphetamine inside.

Potter was charged with speeding 20 MPH over, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to produce an insurance card.
