Paducah man hospitalized after crashing into tree

A Paducah man was hospitalized Wednesday morning following a single-vehicle crash into a tree.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies got the call just after 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. They said Keith Hays of Paducah was driving on Estes Lane when Hays reportedly had some type of medical emergency.

That emergency rendered him unconscious and his truck hit a tree before ending up in a ditch.

Reidland Farley Fire personnel had to cut Hays from the truck.

Hays was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
