Paducah man jailed on child porn charges

A Paducah man was arrested Thursday in connection with an online child pornography investigation.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was contacted Tuesday by the US Department of Homeland Security-Internet Crimes Division to help identify 22-year-old Nathaniel S. Faugno.

Ironically, Faugno entered the McCracken County Courthouse to apply for a court secruity officer position.  The investigation continued until Thursday when Faugno returned for what he thought would be an employment interview.

He was taken into custody and a search warrant of his residence found numerous electronic devices along with a small scale marijuana grow.

Faugno was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail on one count of possessing matter portraying sexual performance by a minor under 12.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are likely.
