Paducah police arrest pair on gun, drug charges

A traffic stop by Paducah Police on Irvin Cobb Drive Tuesday night resulted in the arrests of two men on gun and drug charges.

During the stop, K-9 Bary found a handgun inside the vehicle, along with methamphetamine and marijuana.

Police learned that the driver, 27-year-old Branson L. Waldridge of Gilbertsville, is a felon convicted of trafficking meth and weapons charges.

Waldridge was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The passenger, 22-year-old Logan R. Griffith of Tiline, also has previous convictions for drug trafficking and weapons charges.

Griffith was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and trafficking in marijuana.

Both were arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
