Paducah police report new phone scam in area

Paducah Police said Monday local resident received a call from someone claiming to be “Captain Kent Rinehart” with the “District Court of the United States Paducah, Kentucky.” The caller said the resident had missed jury duty and would face a warrant unless they paid a large fine immediately.
