Two people were arrested after a pickup was stolen and several Crittenden County buildings were burglarized.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup was pulled over Friday on US 641 after it was seen driving recklessly.

The driver was identified as 33-year-old Jacob R. Walker of Marion, and his passenger was later identified as 35-year-old Mika R. Kitrel of Metropolis, after she first provided the name of another person.

The sheriff’s office said they determined that the pickup had been stolen overnight from the Marion-Crittenden County Airport in what they later learned involved six or more burglaries of various buildings in Crittenden County. Deputies said more than $50,000 in property was reported stolen.

Walker was charged with burglary, theft, criminal trespassing, possession of fentanyl and receiving stolen property over $10,000.

Kitrel arrested on charges of criminal trespassing, possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, receiving stolen property over $10,000-auto and theft of identity.

Both were taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
