Part of Greenway Trail set to close Monday through September

The City of Paducah reminds the public that they will close a section of Paducah's Greenway Trail beginning Monday through September.

On Monday, July 14, a subcontractor for the Paducah-McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency will begin a project to install a 72-inch gravity sewer pipe through the floodwall. 

The project requires the closure of the Greenway Trail between Northview and Burnett streets until approximately October 1. 

North 6th Street between Northview and Burnett also will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate the work.
