Portion of KY 3061 reopened in Hickman County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has reopened a section of KY 3061 in eastern Hickman County.

The road has been closed since January 31 where a void developed around a culvert at the Brush Creek branch between Whitlock Road and Brush Creek Road.

A temporary cap has been placed on the excavation, so the surface will be rough for  a time.  

After the fill has had time to settle, a paving crew will place a permanent asphalt cap on the new culvert.
