Recovery is still underway at the Hampton Inn Mayfield following the September fire.
A fire on the hotel rooftop on September 30th caused damage to the building, which had only been open for a matter of weeks. In addition to the fire damage, there was a significant amount of smoke and water damage throughout the facility. Mayfield Police and Fire were on the scene quickly and evacuated the building. The hotel has been closed since, while repair and restoration are taking place.
Hotel owner Al Nathu said, “The safety of our guests, team members, and community will always be our highest priority. We are grateful for the quick action of our local first responders and the support we’ve already received from the Mayfield community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back once the hotel is fully restored and better than ever.”
Once the repairs and inspections are complete, the hotel will reopen.
