Crash turns into McCracken County drug arrest

Late Friday night, McCracken County deputies were called to a crash on Starr Hill Road. The driver, 21-year-old Cameron T. Wooley of Paducah, told deputies he was speeding and lost control of his vehicle.

Deputies suspected Wooley was under the influence and a searched found marijuana, hallucinogens, and prescription drugs, along with a handgun and items to suggest drug trafficking. 

Wooley was charged with DUI, possesion and trafficking in controlled substances, open alcohol container, and multiple traffic offenses. He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
