Student charged with assault in incident on Lyon County school bus

A student was charged with assault after an incident last week on a school bus in Lyon County.

Last week a school resource officer was notified of the altercation which took place after school on a bus traveling along KY 93. The deputy used surveillance footage from the bus to confirm that one juvenile was injured after being assaulted by another student.

A 13-year-old juvenile was charged with assault-4th degree.

The juvenile was released to a parent, but the matter will be reviewed by Lyon District Court's Court Designated Worker.
