Two teens have been charged after vandalism at Mike Miller Park.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies were called at about 3 a.m. Tuesday, after neighbors reported a four-wheeler in the park. When they arrived, the deputies found damage to a statue at the veteran’s plaza. Deputies could also hear the four-wheeler and headed toward the sound. When the teens spotted them, they bailed from the ATV, and a foot pursuit ensued.

Two male teenagers were caught and arrested. One is a 16-year-old from Paducah, and the other is a 17-year-old from Calvert City. The two were charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespassing, and fleeing or evading police.

The teens were booked into the McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center.
