Hollowell, Roark win judge races

The incumbent District Judge and a Paducah attorney win their way to the bench in a pair of contested judicial races in McCracken County.

Incumbent Chris Hollowell withstood the challenge from First Assistant McCracken County Commonwealth's Attorney James Mills to retain his seat as the District Judge in the 2nd Judicial District, 2nd Division. Hollowell won by just over 1,400 votes.

In the race for Circuit Judge in the 2nd Judicial Circuit, 1st Division, Paducah attorney Joe Roark defeated another Assistant McCracken County Commonwealth's Attorney in Chuck Walter. The margin of victory for Roark was 1,767 votes.
