Thousands raised for Marshall Exceptional Center at golf tournament

Thousands were raised for the Marshall County Exceptional Center over the weekend thanks to the annual Mike Miller Memorial Golf Tournament.

The event, which took place on Saturday at the Benton Country Club, raised $32,892.51 for the Exceptional Center.

The Marshall County Exceptional Center, a private non-profit organization, provides training and services to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

They work directly with each client to create a personalized training plan to maximize independence with consideration to their dreams, goals, desires, and abilities.

Over 75 percent of the exceptional center's operational income comes from community support and fundraisers.
