Thursday night stop lands two in jail on drug charges

A Thursday night traffic stop landed two people in jail on drug charges.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle after what they described as several traffic violations. During the stop, it was reportedly discovered that the two occupants of the vehicle, 56-year-old Michael Case of Paducah and 48-year-old Rikirae Washburn of Benton, were in possession of methamphetamine.

The two were charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Case was also charged with a host of traffic violations.

Case and Washburn were booked into the Marshall County Detention Center.
