Tip helps nab Metropolis man in Paducah for trafficking in hydrocodone

A Metropolis man was nabbed in Paducah for allegedly trafficking in illegal drugs following a tip.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, a tip indicated that 48-year-old Walter "Allen" Raley of Metropolis was headed to a business on Cairo Road in Paducah to sell hydrocodone. Raley was supposedly going to arrive at the business around 3 p.m. Wednesday. 

Detectives intercepted Raley as he arrived at the business in the 6700 block of Cairo Road. Raley reportedly had 25 doses of hydrocodone in his possession. 

Raley was arrested and charged with trafficking in a first-degree controlled substance.
