Train derailment in Paducah

Several cars that were part of a P&L Railroad train derailed on Thursday afternoon in Paducah.

The incident occurred along a line between Cleveland Avenue and Chester Hack Drive.

As many as 10 cars overturned. Fortunately, none of them were carrying hazardous materials.

There were no injuries reported and P&L Railroad crews have taken over the cleanup..
